For those of you waiting for the announced Nokia E66 and E71, the wait is almost over. A website recently got their hands official press images of what is supposed to be the Nokia E66 and Nokia E71. The E71 phone will the successor to the successful and popular E61 and E61i while the E66 follows the E65.

These devices is said to include Wifi, HSDPA, GPS and a 3.2 megapixel camera. They are not the prettiest smartphones in the market if you base your judgement on the pictures, but we’ll all just have to wait and see.

THE VEGAS 8-BALL IS PAINTED IN A WAY THAT MATCHES ITS PERSONALITY. IT DELIVERS SO MUCH MORE FOR SO MUCH LESS AND IS POWERED BY A 100 C.I. FREEDOM V-TWIN.

With its bold, modern style and groundbreaking performance the Vegas® not only redefined what an American cruiser should be, it set a new standard by which every new Victory model is measured. From its custom paint schemes, flush-mounted taillight, and signature sculpted tank to its trademark 100-cubic-inch Freedom® V-Twin™ engine with true 6-speed overdrive, the Victory Vegas continues to push the limits of custom style, power, performance, and reliability.

One look and you understand why the Vegas™ creates such a buzz. Smooth, flowing lines. Stunning styling details once seen only on hand-built customs. With styling touches from master custom builders and Victory design partners Arlen and Cory Ness, Vegas is the definition of “smooth.”

FEATURES:

Split tail fuel tank intergrated with seat – Seat provides the ideal combination of cushion and support and its front edge blends into the split tail of the fuel tank.

Custom scallop tank – Along with its scallops, this tank features the vegas’s signature raised spine that introduced a new ear in crusing styling.

Raised tip to tail spine – This signature Vegas styling cus runs from tip to tip on both fenders and down the center of the custom look scalloped fuel tank.

Custom inspired headlight – The streamlined headlight housing complements the bike’s smooth, flowing lines and evokes the notion of motion even when the bike is stationary.

Closed loop fuel injection – The closed loop injection system provides constant feedback and measured amount of fuel and air for a smoother, more responsive ride.

Freedom 100 Cubic Inch V-Twin engine – Re-engineered for 2008, this next generation, smooth, efficient 100 cubic inch (1,634cc) engine produces 85 horsepower and 106 ft-lbs of torque.

Six Speed overdrive transmission – Re-engineered for 2008, it features a new quiet running, higher-ratio 6th gear, and lower ratio 1st gear improving drivability and acceleration.

2008 Moto Guzzi Breva 750

Fine weather on all roads.

It is no coincidence that it bears the name of a wind which blows away the clouds and is a synonym for fine weather. The design is modern, captivating from the first glance, but unmistakably a Moto Guzzi. Accurately designed and finished, it stands out for the soft lines of the anatomical tank, the touch of class given by the three-spoke wheels and the mettle of the sub-fairing pillar. And it’s more than just skin deep.

Breva 750 is easy and instinctive to ride, inspiring immediate confidence in the rider. Its compact size, ergonomic riding position and easy handling are all precious characteristics in city traffic, but the Breva 750 is also fun to ride on mixed roads, solo or with a passenger.

Merit of the short wheelbase and mechanics, with the highly effective double cradle frame in high tensile steel and steering geometry designed to facilitate entry into bends and rapid direction changes. Riding pleasure is enhanced by the electronic injection, providing smooth progressive power and constant efficiency.

The latest engine is even more environmentally friendly, adopting a more efficient catalytic converter with a higher concentration of noble metals, in compliance with Euro3 and CARB standards. The colors and graphics are also new (Corsa Red and Guzzi Black), for a model also appreciated by female riders, for whom there is an optional low seat, just one in a rich range of accessories designed to make your Moto Guzzi even more personal.

2008 Moto Guzzi Breva 1100

Breva V 1100. The universal Moto Guzzi.

When Carlo Guzzi established Moto Guzzi back in 1921, he was brimming with simple but effective ideas. The motorcycle was waiting for someone to drag it out of the pioneering age and transform it into a functional and universal means of transport. Guzzi therefore set about designing practical machines to match the needs of the masses. Though often ingenious and innovative, his technology aimed primarily at comfort, easy riding, reliability and duration.

After more than eighty years, Carlo Guzzi’s design principles are still valid, and represent the true inspiration behind the Breva V 1100. But though our guidelines are the same, motorcycling has changed dramatically over the decades. Motorcyclists have evolved; today they are demanding and attentive, and have acquired a thorough understanding of technology. It was with today’s riders in mind that Moto Guzzi designed the new Breva V 1100, a revolutionary machine made to the highest standards.

The Breva V 1100 has all the credentials for success on today’s fiercely competitive market, and is Italy’s best ever answer to growing demand in the “naked” segment, now Europe’s most important area of the motorcycle market. The Breva excels as an unexaggerated tourer and a true all-rounder: it provides plenty of reasons for passion, but also has a passion for reason.

Comfortable, easy to ride, lavishly equipped, and technically advanced, the Breva V 1100 is perfect for intensive daily use. It is made with everybody in mind, Guzzi fans who would never ride anything else, ex-Guzzi riders returning to the fold, and everybody seeking to discover the pleasures of Moto Guzzi’s unique riding style

Moto Guzzi. How riding style becomes life style.

You don’t have to copy a legend to follow in its footsteps. But you do need to share its spirit, and build on the elements behind its success. The Breva V 1100 project began by defining exactly what a Moto Guzzi is made of. The technical solutions that produce that Guzzi soul were then pieced together.

The motorcycles made at Moto Guzzi’s historical factory at Mandello del Lario have always been unique combinations of innovation and tradition. Their design has become a classic, and their robustness and quality legendary. Universal motorcycles in every sense, they have become icons of Italian style and part of Italy’s creative heritage.

The Guzzi design philosophy has become a lifestyle, and the joys of early motorcycling have expanded to encompass new pleasures. Comfort has turned into wellbeing. From simple means of transport, Moto Guzzi motorcycles have become means of companionship and shared enjoyment, means of joining the modern lifestyle of meetings, clubs, and true motorcyclists.

This is the passionate new lifestyle for which the Breva V 1100 is designed, and all true motorcyclists will jump at the chance it offers of enjoying riding and life the Moto Guzzi way. The Breva V 1100 has all the power of Europe’s biggest motorcycle manufacturing group, plus the intelligence of a thorough, rational design, and, of course, the spirit and passion of Moto.

Moto Guzzi heralds debut of the much anticipated Grise 1100 “Techno Custom” motorcycle to the US Market.

The Grise 1100′s Bold Styling and Aggressive Performance evokes passion from existing enthusiasts and excitement from a new generation of Moto Guzzi fans.

Moto Guzzi USA, manufacturer of the legendary “Italian Eagle” Moto Guzzi® motorcycle and a pioneer of two-wheel vehicles, has announced the debut of the Griso 1100 in the U.S. market. A unique and distinctive machine, the new Griso 1100’s modern engineering and design delivers high performance and style that places it in a class all its own.

Completely redesigned for feel and performance, Moto Guzzi’s renowned Italian racing heritage is clearly visible in the Griso’s slim and streamlined frame, engine, fuel tank, and closely packed fins. Built from extraordinary components, the Griso’s power delivery is smooth and aggressive, with emissions and consumption reduced to a minimum.

“For the last 85 years, motorcycle enthusiasts have looked to Moto Guzzi for outstanding European motorcycle design and technical engineering,” said Paolo Timoni, CEO and President of Moto Guzzi USA. “The Griso is a distinctive machine, a masterpiece of design and a source of absolute riding pleasure”

A new category of motorcycle that Europeans call “Techno Custom,” the Griso 1100’s long and low power cruiser profile delivers a unique riding experience as stable as a power cruiser, as agile as a lightweight naked, and as powerful as a muscle bike.

With twin cylinders and electronic injection, the fuel-efficient and eco-friendly Moto Guzzi V-Twin engine (Euro3 and CARB-compliant), has been completely redesigned for the Griso 1100. The new 1100 cc power unit incorporates innovative technical advances which ensure smooth power delivery as well as low noise and maintenance levels. Its twin spark ignition and fuel injectors combine to deliver perfect combustion and consistent high performance.

The impressive exhaust system, with its twin header pipes, stainless steel triple chamber silencer and aluminum end plate also contributes to the unique character of the engine.

Even Guzzi’s classic shaft drive has been totally redesigned for superior comfort and ridability. The new patented CA.R.C. Compact Reactive Drive Shaft system for the Griso 1100 integrates the drive shaft inside the aluminum alloy swing arm to guarantee smoothness and precision. The system delivers precise and jerk-free power, and eliminates the anti-shaft effect associated with conventional shaft drives.

The surefooted Griso also boasts a high performance braking system. At the front are two 320 mm floating discs and two powerful calipers with four opposing pistons, while the back end is stopped by a single 282 mm disc with a floating caliper and 2 parallel pistons. Grip is guaranteed by high performance tires, 120/70 ZR17” at the front and 180/55 ZR17” at the rear, both fitted on hollow three-spoke, aluminum alloy wheels.

The Griso 1100 will begin to appear in authorized Moto Guzzi dealers throughout the months of May and June, at an MSRP of $13,490.

The Griso is available in Corsa red, the color of the legendary Moto Guzzi racing bikes, and classic Guzzi black.

Additional Optional Features:

Fairing kit
Panniers
Tank bag

2008 Moto Guzzi Breva 1200 Sport

A true show of class does more than just turn heads.

Moto Guzzi shows its sporting soul in its newest “naked”. This evolved form of the 90° twin cylinder 1200 features new solutions in its design and chassis while giving a new meaning to rider comfort.

Just one look at it tells you that it will soon become a cult item for real enthusiasts. The graphics are the same as on competition models, the stylish front discs and the “carbon fibre effect” exhaust that suggest speed give an immediate impression of the 1200 Sport’s character. The attention to detail is typically Italian and its Moto Guzzi DNA and high-tech injection system make it one of those machines that is best appreciated from the saddle.

From here too, its patented handling system can only truly be felt – a perfect blend of incredible performance and the sheer pleasure of riding.

Like all Moto Guzzi, this machine faithfully follows its rider, it indulges his whims with a spirit that has been guiding it for the past 85 years and has never been stronger.

2008 Moto Guzzi California Vintage

An Italian custom bike for the US police.

Thirty-five years have gone by, but the Moto Guzzi California continues to play a leading role in the collective imagination of motorcyclists throughout the world. In 1971 when the first model was introduced, the custom market was divided into the original US models and their imitations from the East. Moto Guzzi introduced a motorcycle with a strong personality based on the tried and tested frame of the V7 Special and the legendary 90° V-Twin engine with a capacity of 757cc. A winning combination which won international success, not least because it proposed a new way of motorcycling, in contrast to the exaggerated quest for performance. On a Guzzi California, you travelled – and you travel – in total relaxation. The seat, as comfortable as an armchair, enables you to enjoy the landscape protected from the wind in the shelter of the large windshield, fitted as standard together with the panniers, a clear sign of its vocation for travel. These qualities enabled the V7 California to triumphantly cross the ocean where it was adopted first by the L.A.P.D. (Los Angeles Police Department) and subsequently by other US states. The rest is history – and legend. A familiar presence in films and advertisements, the California has every right to be considered as one of those industrial design objects which have left their mark on our history. Its two legendary wheels have never stopped – and neither has its evolution. Year after year, the look and technology has been updated, without altering its original personality and spirit. Now, 35 years after its birth, Moto Guzzi has decided to pay tribute to this extraordinary model by creating an exclusive Vintage version, dedicated to those who want to go on dreaming.

    The discreet charm of tradition.

Technology and tradition have inspired the numerous changes defining the character of the California Vintage, a cult object even before its market launch. The reference to the past is obvious in the delightful spoked wheels, in the newly-designed steel mudguards, in the new Brembo front callipers with black finish and in the supplementary fog lights, controlled by a switch on the right block.

In this model, attention is paid to the smallest detail – the windshield is decorated with a stainless steel strip and both the handlebar and two-tone seat are exclusive to the model. The classic engine is protected by chromed steel tubes with integrated. The special bags are fixed, made from rotational nylon, waterproof, lined and again protected with chromed steel tubes. The luggage rack is also chromed for a high-class touring look. The California Vintage is a precious object to be looked after with love and attention. Moto Guzzi has therefore also designed a special bike cover for this motorcycle where luxury is standard.

    An all-new ride.

While externally the California Vintage retains the same unmistakable look which brought it success throughout the world, technically it has been profoundly changed over the years, with significant improvements on the most recent version. The heads, cylinders, conrods, pistons, sintered valve seats and guides and Nymonic exhaust valves come from the Mandello del Lario naked and inherit its power characteristics. The alternator has also been improved and the flywheel is new. Combustion is more efficient thanks to the twin spark cylinder heads, while the timing system is entrusted to the well-proven mechanical tappets. Other minor technical modifications include the new throttle body guards and cableways between the cylinders and tank. As far as the mechanics are concerned, the braking pressure distributor has been modified to improve efficiency. More powerful, easier to ride and safer, the look of the California Vintage has also been radically changed. An exclusive and well deserved tribute to a motorcycle which has become a symbol.

The environmentally-friendly custom bike

What could be better than the classic Nevada 750 equipped with electronic fuel injection?
Only Moto Guzzi could surpass itself in this way, injecting a new lease of life into a motorcycle that time alone cannot stop.

The Nevada Classic 750 i.e. is an absolutely modern motorcycle. 87% of the bike, some 383 parts out of 441, have either been redesigned or replaced and the look is totally new, even if the bike maintains all the fascination of a thoroughbred custom. Side panels, shock absorber covers, seat, rear mudguard, tail light and even the rider footrests have been restyled. The resulting look is eye-catching and contemporary but still leaves that unique Nevada spirit shine on through. The brand new, ultra-modern instrumentation now includes an LCD display. The handlebars and grips have been redesigned, as has the clutch lever, which affords smoother, easier action. Riding ergonomics have been improved to give better control and easier handling in rush-hour traffic. The new profile seat has a height of only 760 mm, making for beautifully easy low speed manoeuvring in tight spaces.

2008 Moto Guzzi Norge 1200

And Moto Guzzi invented the swingarm.

Moto Guzzi has a venerable history of technological firsts. Many of the components now used on the majority of today’s motorcycles were introduced for the first time in the historic Guzzi factory on the Lariano mountains. This was the case, for example, with the rear suspension with swingarm – also the origin of a legendary motorcycle raid in which Giuseppe Guzzi, the founder’s brother and production engineer, played a leading role. In 1928, long-distance excursions were hampered by a serious technical flaw – the lack of rear suspension. The alternatives used until then were not able to maintain the frame under correct torsional rigidity and what was gained in comfort was lost in lack of handling. The inventiveness of the Guzzi brothers created an elastic frame with a sheet steel box enclosing four springs, together with a swingarm in tubes and sheet metal which they then used on the G.T. It was also the embryo of the first modern rear suspension and the basis for the first genuine Gran Turismo motorcycle. Original in everything, the Guzzi Brothers chose a highly particular test – a 4000 mile journey from Mandello del Lario to Lapland in northern Norway, inside the Arctic Circle. A monumental enterprise, considering the disastrous condition of European roads at that time. But in four weeks, Giuseppe reached his destination. The elastic frame with rear suspension was so successful that it was introduced in production machines and the G.T. was named “Norge” in memory of that unprecedented feat. This is why Moto Guzzi decided to name the first “Gran Turismo” of the new era the “Norge”.

Norge 1200. Moto Guzzi starts again from the top – of the world.
The Gran Turismo for the 21st century is born… at Mandello del Lario of course. A tribute to its predecessor and not just in name – the concept of absolute protection and comfort has simply been translated into modern day language and technologically updated. The Norge 1200 has an elegant and dynamic design, excellent ergonomics and comfort and short wheelbase to make it competitive even in the traffic. Dynamic and responsive, the Norge 1200 is a modern Gran Turismo which makes flexibility its main strong point as it crosses city centres and boundless distances with the same ease.

Its generous and tireless heart is a new version of the 90° V-Twin, in a 1200cc version improved to obtain higher torque. So maximum pleasure on mountain passes and complete safety when overtaking on the motorway. The mechanics go hand in hand with the engine, with a steel frame and a suspension system which guarantees maximum comfort, even when carrying a passenger and luggage, thanks to the numerous possibilities for adjustment.

The Norge 1200 does not shy away from even the roughest roads, as it is fitted as standard with ABS which can be deactivated as desired. In the seat of a bike like this, the North Pole is really not that far away!

    Born to travel.
It is immediately obvious that it has been designed to eat up the miles. From the front fairing, for example, which rises up from the profile of the motorcycle as if it were a natural extension. But everything on the Norge 1200 is in the name of total protection. The front fairing is integral and includes leg guards at the front and mudguards at the back to cope with any form of weather without problem. As well as deflecting turbulence away from the rider’s chest, the windshield can be adjusted electrically to adapt to the various riding conditions. The powerful front light assembly with its four polyelipsoidal headlights provides a clear view even on poorly lit roads and adds to the charisma of the front of the motorcycle, giving it an aggressive feline look and a design which once again emphasises the combination of form and function.
Available as an accessory the Tom Tom “Rider” GPS navigation system has been perfectly integrated into the cockpit, offering a Bluetooth wireless connection in addition to satellite navigation; the calls are automatically relayed from the cellphone to the earpiece inside the helmet, allowing the rider to stay in contact with the rest of the world in complete safety.

The dedicated panniers, in the same colours as the body and with single lock, do not affect the total dimensions of the motorcycle or project beyond the rear view mirrors. Small details which are signs of the close attention paid to every aspect of the design, transforming even the simplest trip into a comfortable and safe journey. In genuine Gran Turismo style.
